Mr. Lancelot Reynolds CD, FCA FCA (UK)

lancelot reynoldsAn early life in the inner-city was not a deterrent for this retired past president, as in time he would rise to achieve great status in his chosen profession and be awarded the Order of Distinction for his efforts.

Lancelot started his journey in accountancy at the now defunct Jamaica Omnibus Services and when he left there in 1956 it was to complete his qualifications in accounting in the United Kingdom.

This Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and Fellow of the Institute of Taxation (UK). Lancelot remained in England for a while and worked for the prestigious Chartered Accountants firms of T.H. How & Company and Price Waterhouse & Company.

When he returned to Jamaica in 1965 Lancelot joined Deloitte & Touche as an Audit Supervisor and rose to become the Audit Manager - Partner.

In 1973 he went to the Jamaica National Building Society and was the Financial Controller, Assistant GM, and then the General Manager a position from which he retired in 1999.
