Mr. Everton McDonald FCCA, FCA, BSc., (Economics)

evertonTo become a managing partner in Price Waterhouse Coopers suggests a high level of business acumen and Everton McDonald obviously has that, a fact made obvious by the time within which he completed his main course of studies.

Graduating from Calabar High School as an Alcan Jamaica Scholar in 1966, by 1973 Mr. McDonald had completed his BSc., ACCA, FCCA and FCA.

A council member of the ICAJ from 1983 - 1993 he served as vice-president '87 - '89 and president '89 - '91. Under his stewardship the building and handbook projects of the ICAJ were resuscitated and revised.

With an acute sense of awareness of public concerns during his presidency, Everton was open with his pronouncements on accountability in government and national economic management and has served as; honorary treasurer of the National Crime Prevention Fund, member of the Public Accountancy Board, ICAJ representative with the PSOJ and presenter at ICAJ seminars.

Mr. McDonald also found time to work as board member/financial director for the Hillel Academy and organised the twenty fifth anniversary celebrations of the ICAJ.
