ICAJ/ACCA Joint Examination SchemeICAJ/ACCA Graduation Exercise 2017 ACCA works in partnership with local accountancy bodies in a number of countries. Examples of this would be Joint Examination Schemes (JES) and Strategic Partnerships. ACCA has 15 Joint Examination Partnerships globally, where ACCA works with a national Professional Accountancy Organisation (PAO) to provide globally-accepted qualifications, with local recognition and relevance. Under these partnerships, students register with both partner PAOs (ACCA and the national partner) and are thereby able to satisfy the exam criteria for membership of both simultaneously. A Joint Examination Scheme is established in Jamaica with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.
How to registerApplicants must first sign up with ACCA Apply to become a student then register with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica. Go on the website https://icaj.org/general/register_member_type.asp? create a student applicant account and make the initial registration payment of $3500.

Translations of your documents If you are providing your documents in a language other than English, you will need to provide an official translation as well as a copy of the documents in their original language. Official translations must be performed and stamped by a licensed translator.
How to send us your documents You can upload copies of all your documents during the online application process. Please note that in order to complete your application online, you will be required to pay your registration fee by credit or debit card. If you complete your application fully online, and we receive all the information and documents we require, you should be registered as a student within 5–7 working days. If you have to send documents or payment to us by post, you should be registered as a student within 10 working days. Please note this timescale is from receipt of the documents. We aim to process all applications within the timelines stated above following receipt of the application. You will then be sent a communication via email or letter confirming your application has been processed. Should we require further information to support your application we will contact you.
